Located in Cerro, on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore in Italy´s Lake District, Polidora offers breathtaking views of Isola Madre, Isola Bella, Stresa, Pallanza and The Alps. The 17 acre garden extends over a number of terraces down to the lake. Wandering through the garden you will find numerous places to sit, unwind or to simply enjoy the spectacular views. A gardener´s delight; the property offers a collection of rare conifers and thousands of azaleas as well as magnolias, olive trees, palms and a swamp cypress grove on the property´s private beach.

The original Lombardian farm building has been lovingly converted into characterful and comfortable B&B accommodation. Offering rural charm, characterised by the high, wide arches of the hayloft and the airy criss-cross arrangement of the brickwork, guests can choose from the aptly named Azalea or Camelia double bedrooms, or the family suite - Magnolia, all with en-suite.

Providing an ideal base from which to explore gardens, the lakes, Milan and the Alps, to enjoy Italian cuisine and to sample outdoor pursuits. Whether you´re relaxing in the spacious living room, or eating breakfast al fresco in the arbor, this is truly a haven for rest and relaxation.
